I believe in evidence-based therapy practices to help my clients achieve lasting results in their lives and build lives that are worth living and sharing with others. I am intensively trained in a number of evidence-based practices to include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), Prolonged Exposure, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). I use these modalities to help clients that may be struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, maladaptive coping styles/skills, trauma and PTSD, as well as OCD.
I work collaboratively with each client in a non-judgmental and validating manner to help them achieve their therapy goals and create a life that will give them more purpose, meaning and joy. I not only want to help individuals gain more insight into their behavioral patterns and make sense of their current emotional reactions and belief systems, I also want to help them learn how to change patterns of coping that are negatively impacting their lives and relationships.
